Order Status Automation

Overview

Many eCommerce website operators, whether single vendor or multi-vendor marketplaces, desire to manage the statuses of their orders from their eCommerce platform. This is even more important during integration to other platforms, like AtaraPay. For convenience and seamless management of orders from a single view, we have developed APIs that expose these statuses to the eCommerce app.

Use Cases

  1. The API is useful for eCommerce operators that want to automate the coordination of deliveries with their AtaraPay account. Here, when the order is delivered, the “delivered” status is parsed to AtaraPay, which automatically triggers the sending of email and SMS to the buyer to accept or reject the order.
  2. The API is useful of app delivery businesses that wish to integrate AtaraPay escrow solution to their delivery app. Here, the sender pays into escrow and once the order is delivered, the sender is automatically informed to accept or reject. On acceptance, the delivery person is automatically paid.
  3. The API is useful to synchronize communication and action between the eCommerce or delivery app and AtaraPay.For example, the buyer or seller can cancel the order from either their AtaraPay account or eCommerce app to trigger same outcome.
  4. The API is useful for reporting escrow order statuses on the eCommerce or delivery app dashboards for ease of status tracking from a single view.
